Amy Karol, craft goddess and blogger of Angry Chicken, and author of a book I hope to get one day, Bend The Rules Sewing, did an appearance on a Pacific Northwest news program.  She used  a bleach pen to embellish designs on a plain red napkin to make it holidayey.  Now why the hell didn’t I think of that?!  Because I’m not a very good think-outside-the-box type person that’s why.  But this is so purely simple it’s genius!  I am TOTALLY doing this.  Think I’ll pick up random napkins for Kosette’s lunchbox and do Fancy K S es or script her name OR better yet, embellish some of the pockets or cuffs of my jeans!   Too freaking cool!  So inspiring.
